I believe in the power of learning and teaching, when the focus is the student and his/her ability to think critically.

I am teaching Environmental Economics and Policy, International Business, Strategy and Operations Management at the University of Padova. Additionally, I am teaching environmental management and sustainability at a number of national and international institutions.

I am the Associate Dean for Innovation in teaching and new technologies at my Department and I am part of an inter-disciplinary group of pioneers within Unipd – the so-called Change-Agents – who are supporting innovation in teaching within their departments and sharing experiences and good practices.

In 2019 won the Gianluca Spina award for teaching excellence and innovation, special mention, for experimenting a participatory and learner-centered approach in teaching

I keep training to improve my teaching skills and learn new perspectives on student-centered, reserach-based teaching & learning – mostly within the Teaching4Learning@Unipd framework (clic on the images below for more info on the courses I attended so far).
